CLOSURE NOTICES

Please be advised that Horizon Taekwon-do will be closed for the Labour Day weekend Friday, August 29^th, 2008 up until and including Monday, September 1^st, 2008. We will re-open Tuesday, September 2^nd, 2008. We wish everyone very happy and safe holiday weekends.

GRADING

Congratulations to our members who graded in July. The next Grading will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008.  Children currently White Belt to Yellow Belt, start at 5:00 p.m.  Children currently Green Stripe & up, start at 6:00 p.m.  All adults start at 7:00 p.m.  Please note that all regularly scheduled classes are cancelled on this day.  Also, just a friendly reminder that students are required to wear their full uniforms at Grading.

OPEN HOUSE/FUN FAIR 2008

Saturday, August 23^rd, 2008 we will be holding our annual Open House. Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy. It runs from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. with lots of fun-filled activities.

·        ACADEMY OF MUSIC:  Our neighbors from across the road will be providing a taste of what music has to offer the aspiring artist.

·         THE NIA TECHNIQUE:  Experience the joy of movement with Nia. Lisa will be presenting two short sample classes: one at 10:30 a.m. and another at 11:30 a.m. Please bring water and dress in exercise clothes.

•   THE BENEFITS OF MASSAGE:  Sarah Ritchie R.M.T. from the Oakwest Natural Health Clinic will be offering free 5 minute massages for the wounded and weary.

KICKBOXING CLASSES

Mr. Sanchez will be delivering high octane cardio kickboxing classes on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings from 9:45 am till 10:45 am, Saturday mornings from 8:45 am till 9:45 am and Wednesday evening from 8:00 pm till 9:00 pm.  The cost is $6.00 per class or $50.00 for a book of 10 classes.
